Girls Inc of Northern Alberta is naming their latest nominee for their Women of Inspiration series.

Michelle Farrow, the Executive Director of the Fort McMurray Boys and Girls Club, is the fourth women being recognized through the annual program.

In her time with the club, she has helped pilot programs to support many of the region’s youth.

She was also the driving force behind BBBS’s successful application to the ELCC Program that offers $25 a day childcare.

Moving forward, Farrow will be helping with the 2022 Wood Buffalo Arctic Winter Games as the Host Society’s Director of Volunteer.

Girls Inc says she is a true ‘champion’ for the region.

Farrow, along with four other nominees, will be celebrated on March 7, 2020, during the Women of Inspiration Gala.
