A student led initiative continues its quest to bring the holidays to those less fortunate in the region.
The RMWB is encouraging donations to Santas Anonymous, a program run by students at Father Mercredi since 1984, through its 4th annual Stuff-A-Bus toy drive.
Last year, the event helped raise around $12,000 worth of donations through 39 pick-up locations.
Organizations involved this year will receive a decorated box which will be used to collect donations, such as unwrapped toys and gift cards, for the campaign.
On December 13, the municipality will be picking up the donations with help from transit services and bringing them to Father Mercredi.
Groups have until 12 p.m. on December 12 to register.
More information about the Stuff-A-Bus initiative can be found on the RMWB’s website.
