MOB’s Dunn Named to Canada West Selection Camp

A defensemen for the Fort McMurray Oil Barons will be trying out for Team Canada West at the 2019 World Junior A Challenge.

Kabore Dunn is one of 44 players across the Canadian Junior Hockey League who were chosen for the selection camp.

He’s one of 15 players from the Alberta Junior Hockey League.

Dunn has scored three goals and added six assists for nine points in 23 games for the MOB this season.

His play has also garnered attention from NHL scouts as he’s currently one of five AJHL players being identified on the NHL Central Scouting Players to Watch List.

He’s projected to be a potential 4th to 6th round pick.

Team Canada West will hold their tryouts in Calgary on December 1 – 3 where the players will take part in practices and live games.
