Police Recover Over 30 Burned And Abandoned Vehicles Within RMWB

Wood Buffalo RCMP are reporting the recovery of dozens of burned and abandoned vehicles.

On October 23, the Mounties’ Crime Reduction Unit, along with RCMP Auto Theft Unit and Alberta Environment and Parks located and recovered 33 vehicles that were either burned or abandoned within the RMWB.

Police note they continue to work with Alberta Environment and Parks to locate additional stolen, abandoned or damaged vehicles.

Public assistance in reporting property crime related to vehicles is deeply appreciated so that police can investigate, and public and environmental safety can be ensured.
