Police Seek Public’s Assistance Identifying Suspect In August Robbery

Wood Buffalo RCMP are investigating a robbery that took place last month.

The Mounties are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man who was involved in an altercation at a business on Loutit Road back on August 14.

Around 3:20 a.m., while wearing a red bandana on his face, grey pants, a dark hooded sweatshirt and blue backpack, the man entered the business and demanded cash.

After stealing the money, he then fled on foot.

The suspect is described to have a dark complexion, with a slender build and stands at approximately 5-foot-9.

No one was injured in the incident and police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
