Municipality Seeking Record Amount Of Volunteers For Fall Community Cleanup

Registration is open next week for the annual Fall Community Cleanup.

The RMWB is looking for people to help create a litter-free Wood Buffalo – by cleaning up their favourite park, green space, block, trail or roadway.

Last year’s program had more than 2800 volunteers, and this year the municipality is hoping to surpass 3000.

Cleaning supplies, including yellow garbage bags and gloves will be provided by the RMWB.

Volunteers are also encouraged to take part in the Pick and Click Photo contest for a chance to win a prize from Fort McMurray’s Home Hardware.

Registration opens on September 1st and closes on September 30th.
