Two people from Fort McMurray are facing a number of drug-related charges after a drug bust.
On August 7, Wood Buffalo RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on Timberline Drive.
There they found around 28 grams of suspected cocaine, 122 grams of suspected psilocybin (mushrooms), 231 grams of suspected ‘shatter’, 1.1 kilograms of suspected marijuana, 4.2 kilograms of suspected marijuana edibles, and over $10,000 in Canadian cash.
The Mounties would end up arresting 39-year-old James Michael Harmon and 29-year-old Chantelle Cardinal.
Each was charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and unlawfully selling cannabis.
Both will make their first court appearance in Fort McMurray on September 24, 2019.
